Global Competency Manager - OneSubsea May 2019 - Jul 2020

  • Defined, developed, and deployed an end to end competency management system for the OneSubsea product line – catering to a population of more than 500 field service employees and 40 managers.

  • Created the solution in an eco-system of PowerApps based front-end, PowerBI based reporting and Sharepoint serving as a relational database in the back-end.

  • 3500 submissons from 210 employees within 6 months of using the app
  • 217 employees viewed their own profile using the PowerBI dashboard with 1200 views amongst them

  • First tool in in history of OneSubsea, that provided global visibility of competency profiles for each field service employee on a business relevant structure.

  • Conducted workshops and Lead onboarding of various groups within OneSubsea onto the global framework including Brasil and Norway

  • This resulted in an impact of almost 200 Field Service Employees coming onto a global competency platform for the first time ever, and the organization getting a global visibility on the competency of the field service organization.

  • It was imperative to have the employees onboard the program to enable a clear path to progression in these product lines, as some of them enjoy a very large market share, and having a structured competency management process was imperative for business continuity

  • Coached various employees on development of training content and assessments effectively.

  • Conducted hands-on training with end-users on location as part of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) at field locations.
  • In addition, assigned and managed completion of various web-based and classroom trainings across the SLSS populationto ensure greater understanding of SAP rollout before go-live

Senior Mechanical Engineer - New Product Development May 2018 – Sept 2018

  • Lead design engineer on next generation valve system, with debris tolerance and extreme pressure ratings.
  • This was a short assignment with a clear task cut-out, diagnose problems with an initial prototype of the valve, and get it qualified for operations by putting it through the stringent API 17G standards.
  • Re-designed the guts of the valve based on actual test results and iterated over multiple FEAs, as well as Rigid Body Dynamic analysis in Ansys.
  • New design led to subsequent successful qualification of the valve, which was a critical piece of the overall next generation valve system being delivered to clients.

Segment Technical Engineer – Operations Systems May 2017 - Apr 2018

  • Created and Deployed the Operations System consisting of Standard Work, Activity Workflow, Assessment Questions and Checklists for a definitive guide on running operations offshore efficiently and without failure.
  • Developed in Unity and demonstrated Standard Work prototype on Augmented Reality (Microsoft Hololens) to display capability of moving beyond tablet computers, for Standard Work execution in offshore environments (one of the first ones to develop this capability within Schlumberger).
  • Authored 118 pieces of original content, which now serves as the backbone of standard operating procedures, for a large share of subsea operations.
  • Managed the entire project, from authoring content to getting feedback, and subsequently publishing it, and deploying it with field locations globally to enable adoption.

Senior Mechanical Engineer - New Product Development Apr 2016 – May 2017
